Very pricy for a salad. I had the Asian salad with shrimp added and it was almost $19.00. The dressing was very good. But costs 50cents if you want more.

Crab cakes are better than anything I ever had while I traveled thru Massachusettes down the east cost. This will be my wife and I's regular spot to go for our anniversary for now on.

I would kill someone for one of these crabcakes! Seriously the best I've ever had.

The food here is divine. This is a place where I always get seafood (which takes a high level of trust around here) and I'm always amazed at how good it is. It will break the bank, though, so I usually eat here when my parents visit town :) The bar has a nice atmosphere also, if you just want to hang out. This place is so much better than it looks from outside.

I wish I could afford to hit Rococo more often. Bruce, the owner, is a great host and an unbelievable chef. I've not had better seafood in OKC, or in many other places, to be honest with you. I typically order up a couple of "cookies" which are slices of baguette with interesting toppings. Order up a few of those, a crab cake or two and some sides with each person ordering an entrée. While I don't see many people doing it, "family style" is the way to go here. You'll want to taste a bit of everything.

Outrageously expensive for what we had. Everything was fine. Not great, just fine. And for fine, I expect to pay less than $50 per person. There was nothing really wrong with our meal, but nothing memorable or outstanding either. Extensive martini list, but they are all variations on typical shot bar sorority drinks. Nothing modern or clever or even not-sweet. Our appetizers were fine, but standard. Our pate was served with a chopped fried egg. Really? Is that a sub for hard boiled now? The calamari was fine. Very standard. The very typical marinara sauce came out about 10 minutes after the squid. Oops. Over half our party ordered the special. Now, the price range for entrees here was $20 - $30 or so. The special was $53.00. Imagine my surprise when I got the check. Um, maybe mention that the special is twice as much as the standard menu item? I had a salad with shrimp - it had obviously been dressed a good 5 or 10 minutes before it was served. The greens were soggy. The special was steak with crab stuffed shrimp. Good, but not anything you couldn't find on any other menu anywhere. A couple people had pasta - things like linguini with clam or spaghetti with sausage. Not thrills, no risks; satisfying standard fare, but at luxury prices. But there was nothing luxe about the meal. Our waitress brought out our apps then took our entree order. Weird timing like that all night, and no bus service, etc. Given the very low volume, it makes sense to have a tiny staff, but not at these prices. We all liked our dinner, but there was no raving, nothing surprising, nothing unusual or bold. Look around Rococo. High end is inventive and bold. This seemed like well prepared food that still resembled the standard Sysco inspired menu - predictable and dull. Also, we were there for 4 hours and I can tell you that we were one of 3 or 4 tables, max, seated all night. So I'm thinking I'm not alone in my complete and total "meh" for this place.

I went back in July with a friend for her bday--well, that time I paid, but even with a Groupon, it was $150 for two people, yikes!!!!!! It's good but not THAT good.

This was actually the second time I've eaten brunch there but it was so horrible I will not be going back period. My friend and I arrived to a empty restaurant but it still took 15 minutes for the server to bring menus, 10 minutes later he came back for the order 30 minutes later we got our food, the waiter never came back to the table after taking our order. The food was good, the mini pizza bites were clever but ugly. The food at least kept me from walking out. Bear in mind there was one other table with people at it and their server seemed prompt and normal. Paying the bill was literally a trial first I wandered both rooms looking for a staff member to bring me a check, than waited till someone else came out of the back to hand them my card I felt like I could have walked out and no one would have noticed. This is the complete opposite of my first visit but I don't feel like wasting my money to get that angry again. Eat there at your own risk.

Went to the North Park location and it was really great. Pasta was amazing and so was the Love Salad! Great place with fun atmoshphere. Was busy but not noisy. Had a nice weekend entertainer. We will be back -- plan to try the Sunday Buffet which we have heard is great as well.

This is a great place to go on a date. The atmosphere is nice, the food is excellent, the wine list is impressive, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend the lobster risotto.

I love Rococo! Their food is fabulous, if terribly fattening. The menu is huge, with nearly one whole page of appetizers, including various "cookies." If I order an entree, I normally take half of it home, because the servings are large. Their pasta dishes are just fabulous - I have a friend who consistently craves their pesto and drives from Norman to get it. And they have a great salad with prosciutto and fruit that I've unsuccessfully attempted to re-create at home. They have a great wine list, and the martinis are excellent as well. Service is good. There's one waitress in particular who always remembers me and says hello, remembers the wine I drink, etc., and I only go in once a month at the most. Very nice!

This is one of the best restaurants in the city hands down. There is not one flaw in the atmosphere or cuisine. The chef and owner takes pride in this establishment, but feels like a friend when he comes to greet you.

i've been to rococo once for dinner and once for lunch. the dinner was okay, but thought the lunch was pretty bad. i ordered the bouliabasse and was very disappointed. i was expected a flavorful broth, but what a got was basically chicken stock and chunks of canned tomato with various chunks of seafood. will not be returning for food, but the place does have a nice vibe. might be fun to come here for drinks and appetizers.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
